Only the TRX 2.5 has the push-button starting convenience of the EZ-Start Electric Starting System. Traxxas’ exclusive Smart Start technology monitors critical starting functions, automatically sensing and diagnosing potential problems for trouble-free engine starting every time!

Two-Speed Forward/Reverse Transmission

Traxxas TMaxx’s fully enclosed automatic transmission features two-speeds forward, two-speeds reverse with speed-sensitive reverse lockout. This gives you racing truck acceleration in first gear and a 40+mph top speed in second. Just push a button on the TQ-3 transmitter to shift into reverse. Traxxas designed full proportional control of throttle and brakes in both forward and reverse directions.

The TRX 2.5 Racing Engine is nothing short of amazing. It comes loaded with all the performance goodies. The two-needle composite slide carburetor, trick porting, and free-flowing rear exhaust deliver unmatched, class-leading horsepower that rips huge wheelies and pushes the T-Maxx past 40mph!

High-Volume Air Intake System

The TRX 2.5 Racing Engine uses a high-volume air intake system with a two-stage air filter. The filter housing and neck are designed to mate seamlessly with the carburetor to eliminate turbulence in the air-flow going into the engine.

Tuned Exhaust System

The header and pipe length and shape are dyno-tuned for the TRX 2.5 to bring out the most power over the broadest RPM range. All that means is you can nail the throttle hard at any speed and get some serious 4-wheel roost action.

Adjustable Slipper Clutch

The T-Maxx is equipped with an adjustable slipper clutch to absorb drive train shocks and protect against damage, especially after those 30-foot jumps you just couldn’t resist. Standard spur gears are used to allow easy changes to the overall gearing.

  1. The Traxxas T-Maxx looks like fun Nito RC Truck. A friend of mine has this truck and it i have ran it in an empty parking. The T-Maxx is agreat nitro truck for those that are starting out or just never had a nitro rc.

      The Traxxas T-Maxx is designed for folks that are new to the hobby or ones that have never had a nitro vehicle. It is a great and fast little rc truck and at a fair price.
